About Captain Pat's Boats (Actually three)

Inshore light tackle fishing in Central Florida is an anglers dream, with a wide variety of species to target 1 boat just won't cut it!. Here can you sightcast to tailing redfish on the flats, in inches of water, work dropoff's in deeper water for Trophy Redfish and Gator Trout, work dock's and structure for Snook and juvenile Tarpon, or venture just outside the inlets for some awsome nearshore action with Tarpon, Giant Jack Crevalle, Smoker Kingfish and the Best Triplitail fishery the state has to offer.

If Shallow water is your idea of an exciting trip then step aboard the 'CJ's Dream'. This beautiful skiff; the only 15' Shipoke ever made, came from an original Willy Roberts mold. Never heard of Willy Roberts? He was one of the original flats skiff makers. Whose designs are still copied today. This boat will comfortably fish 2 anglers and is custom fitted with a bench style seating(coffin box) to provide a comfortable ride. A natural feature of the hull design and a major reason for the original model's popularity is that it produces virtually no hull slap when poled, and it yields an extremely shallow draft. Of course, it features the traditional Willy's raised bow for a great ride. It is such an efficient design that even today it is considered to be one of the finest poling skiffs ever made, easily outperforming today's modern high dollar custom skiffs.

Like the advantage of fishing alone? Well Capt. Pat also has a fully restored Challenger Classic Round Chine that will spin out in a puddle. This unique skiff was also an original design from the early days of South Florida Fishing in Flamingo. The ultimate fly fishing platform with a recessed deck for line management. With it's raised bow and super dry ride, this boat will go anywhere the water will allow, nothing is too shallow. Completely custom fitted with Seadek it is very quiet and comfortable.

Finally, Capt. Pat's "Luckystrike2" is a 21' Bay boat with all of the amenities to fish nearshore for Tarpon, Cobia, Smoker Kingfish, Monster Jack Crevalle and Tripletail. as well as target the Docks and structure for those elusive Snook, this boat comfortably fishes three to four people.Typically we fish inshore reefs/wrecks during the summer months for a wide variety of fish .

This is a preferred area for flyfishermen targeting Redfish on Fly.Sight casting to tailing Redfish in shallow water, whether on fly or spin is what this area is world famous for. Schools of 100 fish or more are not uncommon, with many averaging 30-50 fish. This area also is a great place to target "gator trout" with many over 30".

Titusville
Fishing in the spacecoast area of the Indian River offers many opportunities for sightfishing and exceptional flats fishing for both redfish and trout.Along with great Redfish and Trout population, during the summer months Tarpon and Pompano are also seasonally available. Many large Trophy Redfish are taken from this area also.

Canaveral
In the spring the Canaveral basins are loaded with snook awaiting anglers with enough savvy to pull them from their haunts. Fishing the coastal areas of this area produces excellent cobia, kingfish, tripletail, spanish mackerel, giant jack crevelle and tarpon.

Melbourne/Sebastian

Typically, coastal trips are from 5-20 miles from the port of choice. Live bait and artificial lures are used to entice strikes from these gamesters. Ocean going snook and redfish frequently cruise the beaches and inlets and are an added bonus.
