Have
a love affair with the tailing redfish by joining Captain Mark in
his fully loaded 2004 Ranger 169 Ghost flats boat poling quietly
on the shallow flats, sight fishing for redfish and trout. Snook
and tarpon fishing available seasonally.
Captain Mark's attitude of "what ever it takes" means
the use of live bait or a full array of artificial lures may be
employed in the pursuit of our elusive quarry.
Expert instruction on proper casting, knot tying, and various fishing
techniques are eagerly taught. Instructional trips are also available
upon request with the emphasis of learning the ropes of flats fishing
rather than on numbers of fish. This is a great way to quickly progress
from novice to advanced angler. Many people waste time with the
trial and error method of learning.
For anglers looking for a more relaxed style of fishing, we recommend
fishing the areas of deeper underwater structures. Here it is possible
to catch a mixed bag of fish including sheepshead, drum, flounder,
pompano, jack crevalle, snapper, etc. This style of fishing is especially
effective for young anglers or anyone who is unable to stand for
prolonged periods of time.
