What
is amazing about the awesome fishery of Mosquito
Lagoon? Mosquito Lagoon offers one of the best Redfishing in
Florida and the United States. It's known as the "Redfish Capital
of the World" and for good reason. Thousands of Redfish frequent
this exceptional estuary and catching large monsters that can exceed
40+ pounds is not uncommon. Sight fishing, fly fishing, live bait
and lure fishing can be done with much success for the beginning
anglers to the most advanced. Mosquito Lagoon fishing is INCREDIBLE.
Mosquito
Lagoon is a sight fisherman's dream. With shallow waters, and half
the year with gin clear waters, sight casting at schools and single
Redfish is exhilarating. When sight fishing, the boat, casting accuracy,
and eliminating noise is of the utmost importance. Poling the boat,
and not trolling and spooking the fish is also very important. Your
one or two shots at tailing redfish will get your heart going, so
making a good cast is crucial.
From Central Florida and the attractions, your just 45 minutes away
from Canaveral Florida, and Titusville. With a short drive down
the Bee Line, or coming up or down I-95, you can be at the boat
ramp within minutes.
What
should you expect in a fishing guide? Each guide is different, but
overall most are close to each other in terms of their fishing expertise.
All guides are extremely good sight fisherman, and most have participated
in local fishing tournaments. All are sponsored by the best fishing
companies in the world. They strive in teaching you the area, and
how to become a better angler, and all want to make sure that you
have a great day fishing. Having an exciting day on the water is
the most important, and catching a memory is what they are after.
Please
take a look around, and check out the fine fishing guides, I'm sure
that you will not be disappointed.
